Fire Alarm Upgrade in Calgary School District

MNA Quality Consulting were consulted with the fire alarm upgrade in the Stanley Jones school Rosedale school. These are two out of 7 schools that underwent the upgrade. We start the process by reviewing existing installed systems and plot the devices and panels location on the drawing. Next we apply the existing building code, standard and local regulations to the upgraded system. We submitted our design to the school project manager and once it is approved we assist with tendering the project to select the suitable contractor.

We assist the contractor with all inquiries and minimal change orders to not deviate too much from the initial project cost and time budget. The two school upgrades were completed at about the same time by different contractors. The school project manager was pleased with our tight control on the project timeline and cost.
